I hope you are well and enjoying the warmer days. I am so glad we aren’t experiencing those crazy snow days that hit the UK like the storm earlier last month. Today is world earth day, something which I am very passionate about, so I thought I’d share a make-up look that I put together to celebrate this day. It is an annual event celebrated on April 22 to support environmental protection.I hope you enjoy this look and it helps raise awareness about this important cause.
After what feels like the longest and most miserable month of the year, January is finally over! So what better way to celebrate than with Valentine’s Day? But hang on, you still need to plan a breath taking make-up look to seduce your valentine…

Today I can finally share with you my recent makeup purchases. Over the month of December I was making beauty purchases but not blogging about them to maintain my festive post schedule. Now I have more time to share reviews with you so here is a collective makeup haul.
Urban decay full spectrum palette
So I got this palette at the start of December and I have not stopped using it since. Honestly, it is so versatile and I love it so much. I’m by no means a make up pro but with the variety of shades available, I have been experimenting loads! The only negatives I would give this palette are that some colours are really hard to use as you have to use a lot of them in order to get some colour on your eyelids. Apart from that I love it !
Urban decay Vice Metal Meets Matte Lipstick Palette
I’d never bought a lipstick palette before and never knew that they even existed! But I can safely say I am happy with my purchase as it gives me a variety of colours to use on numerous occasions rather than forcing me to use one colour all the time with a simple lipstick. My only gripe with this palette is that I don’t find it easy to apply the lipstick with the brush. Maybe urban decay could improve on the brush in the future.

A few months ago I was still living in Paris and I was going to a store called SEPHORA. Americans will probably know this store but for those from the UK it’s like our equivalent of boots but only for make-up.
During the sale season, I discovered small little eggs called kiss me. They are tinted lip balms that moisturise your lips whilst still giving you a lipstick look and are available in 6 different colours. I have the cotton candy balm and I adore it.
After having used it for several months, I will share with you a quick review:
According to Marie Claire women spending whopping 91 hours a year, that’s 43 weeks of our lives are spent applying make-up, moisturiser and blowdrying our hair each day. It’s crazy to think that we are spending that much time on ourselves .

The secret life of pets
I know I’m technically an adult but I love children’s movies (especially this one). I have a pet dog and it was funny to see what pets could potentially do when owners leave them alone. It’s obviously fictional but sooo funny. Great voices for the characters and music too.
BOOKS
Evie offline
Absolutely adored this story about an independent woman’s struggle with being single and her addiction to the internet. It brings back so many home truths and makes me think whether life would be more interesting without the internet and questions society’s values about single women past the age of thirty. I bought this book in Paris but it was translated from English so I am sure you can find it in a bookstore near year.
MAKEUP
I absolutely love Sephora’s Kiss Me Balm. The packaging is so cute like an egg. It also smells super delicious as well as moisturising and tinting my lips at the same time.
